Gaïa Surfwear General Conditions of Sale

These terms and conditions govern the sale of products through the website www.gaiasurfwear.com . By making a purchase, the user accepts the following terms and conditions:

1. General information

  • The products are sold by Gaïa Surfwear, based in Las Palmas de Gran Canaria.

  • In accordance with current tax regulations in the Canary Islands, our prices do not include IGIC (Tax on Income Tax) or VAT. All transactions are exempt from IGIC (Tax on Income Tax) pursuant to Article 10.1.28 of Law 20/1991.

2. Orders and availability

  • Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding local and national holidays.

  • Order processing time is 1 to 5 business days. This time may be extended during periods of high demand.

  • Gaïa Surfwear reserves the right to cancel orders due to stock availability.

3. Shipments

  • Orders are shipped from the Canary Islands (Spain) via Correos España and DHL. For international orders, local partner companies are used.

Approximate delivery times:

  • Canary Islands: 3–5 business days

  • Peninsula: 7–10 business days

  • Balearic Islands and EU: 10–15 working days

  • International: 15–20 business days

  • Delivery times are calculated from the date the tracking number is issued.

  • Gaïa Surfwear is not responsible for delays caused by shipping companies or customs procedures.

4. Customs and taxes

  • When shipping from the Canary Islands, orders may be subject to customs fees or local taxes not included in the price.

  • The customer will assume any costs arising from customs or import.

5. Exchanges and returns

We accept exchanges and returns under these conditions:

  • Returns are only accepted for products purchased without a discount or promotion.

  • If the product was purchased at a discount, you can request a change of size or model , but not a refund.

  • The product must be unused, with tags, a hygienic protector and original bag.

  • The deadline to request an exchange or return is 15 days from receipt of the order.

  • Shipping costs associated with exchanges or returns are the responsibility of the customer .

6. Cancellations and modifications

  • It is not possible to cancel or modify an order once it has been placed.

7. Legal guarantee

All our products are covered by the legal warranty in force in Spain against manufacturing defects. This warranty does not cover damage resulting from improper use or failure to follow care recommendations.

8. Care recommendations

To extend the life of your clothes:

  • Rinse with cold water after use.

  • Hand wash with mild soap

  • Avoid fabric softeners, dryers and irons

  • Dry in the shade

  • Avoid rough surfaces such as rocks or pool edges

9. Conflict resolution

In the event of a dispute, both parties shall be subject to the courts of the consumer's domicile. Furthermore, in compliance with Article 14.1 of Regulation (EU) 524/2013, consumers are informed that they can access the EU's online dispute resolution platform: https://ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr/
