Garment care
- Rinse with cold water immediately after use.
- Hand wash with mild soap (eco-friendly is best)
- Avoid irons, fabric softeners or dryers
- Dry in the shade
- Avoid rough surfaces (rocks, pool edges)
Shipping and deliveries
Where are orders shipped from?
All orders are prepared and shipped from the Canary Islands, Spain.
Where do you ship to?
We ship to the Canary Islands, the Peninsula, the Balearic Islands, Europe, and other international destinations.
Which companies do you work with?
We work with Correos España. Abroad, we use their partner networks.
How long does it take for my order to arrive?
- Canary Islands: 3–5 business days
- Peninsula: 7–10 business days
- Balearic Islands / EU: 10–15 working days
- International: 15–20 business days
Delivery times are counted from the moment you receive your tracking number.
Please note that we ship from the Canary Islands, so shipments may take a little longer to arrive. Thank you for your patience!
To ensure that orders arrive in perfect condition and within the estimated timeframe, Gaïa Surfwear entrusts the delivery of orders in Spain to Correos de España.
Deliveries outside of Spain will be made through the courier company associated with Correos de España in the destination country. For example, La Poste Italiane in Italy, La Poste in France, Correios in Portugal, and DHL in Germany.
Once your order is prepared and ready to ship, you'll receive an email with the tracking number.
Gaïa Surfwear is not responsible for delivery delays caused by the Post Office and its partners in other countries.
Do I have to pay extra customs or taxes?
Customs fees or local taxes may apply in some countries. These costs are not included in the order and must be borne by the recipient.
As of July 1, 2021, a new European regulation came into force establishing that all goods imported into the Iberian Peninsula, the Balearic Islands, and the rest of the European Union from the Canary Islands, Ceuta, and Melilla are subject to import procedures and, therefore, to the payment of import VAT.
Remember: Since we ship from the Canary Islands, customs fees may sometimes apply. If this occurs, please note that they are the customer's responsibility. Thank you for your understanding!
Exchanges and returns
Can I exchange or return a product?
Yes, as long as it is unused and has not been purchased with a discount or promotion.
Conditions for exchange or return:
- The garment must be unworn, with tags, original bag and hygienic protector.
- You have 15 days from the date you receive the order to request it.
- If you purchased at a discount, you can only exchange the size or model, not return it.
Who covers return shipping costs?
Shipping costs for exchanges or returns are the customer's responsibility.

How do I choose the right size?

Do the clothes fit true to size?
Yes, although because they are made of recycled, double-layered technical fabric (we don't use synthetic linings on the inside), they have less elasticity than conventional swimsuits.
If you're unsure between sizes, choose the larger one. If you have any questions, please write to us; we'll be happy to advise and help you!
Do all models fit the same?
No. Some have a tighter or more relaxed fit. Check the description of each product.
Orders and cancellations
Can I modify or cancel my order?
Once you've done this, it can't be modified or canceled. Be sure to double-check before confirming.
How do I know if my order has been shipped?
We'll email you your tracking number as soon as it's ready to ship.
What happens if there is a delay?
Although we don't control the logistics provider's delivery times, we're here to help. If any issues arise, please contact us and we'll do our best to resolve them.

What are the clothes made of?
Made from high-quality recycled fabrics created from ocean waste, plastics, and abandoned fishing nets.
Where are they produced?
We design in the Canary Islands and produce in specialized workshops under ethical and responsible standards.
Is it only for surfers?
No. Our pieces are designed for active women who love the ocean: surfing,
longboarding, SUP, freediving, swimming, pilates or just to feel like yourself.
